Open to the world and deeply rooted in Tyrol.

I am Sophia Kircher, a Tyrolean and a European. My path into politics was shaped by the conviction that everyone can make a difference through commitment and cohesion. Find out more about me, my roots and what drives me.

Götzens, located in the heart of the Austrian Alps, has been my home for 30 years.
My passion for politics was sparked at an early age within my family. I realized early on that everyone can make a valuable contribution to our society – whether through volunteering or political involvement.

As part of my studies, I spent a year abroad at Brock University in St. Catharines, Canada.
During my time at university, I also completed various internships both in Austria and abroad – including at the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs in Vienna and at the Foreign Trade Center of the Austrian Economic Chamber in London.
After graduating in International Economic Sciences from the University of Innsbruck in 2017, I worked in corporate communications.
